I wanted to get an upgrade to their existing plastic kitchen set; I had purchased from a neighborhood bargain retailer. Albeit, purposeful, simply method too small for the little guys to play on concurrently. Now relating to color, the "vintage" blue is a light eggshell,finish. It's very muted, and works great in a room with muted colors. It does appear exactly like the picture, and has "great" sturdiness. This is greater than a toy- it's furniture. In time periods of building, it is on par with a crib or changing desk. I learn many evaluations on the time it takes to put together. And I need to admit, it does take a quantity of hours,and sparsely studying the directions. It's no longer too tough to practice, simply super time ingesting. I am rather handy, and it took me four hours. Do not take any of the steps for granted, throughout assembly. It is crucial to practice each and each step - to the letter.
